what's the difference between this and Learning Organization? — Danielwang-x 03:51, 26 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I think there is a strong correspondence between learning communities (LCs) and "Evolutionary Business". Perhaps LCs are even required for business to evolve. I'm not sure, however, that learning communities are the complete answer. There is more that business needs to address beyond how it learns and adapts (and I understand that LCs is more than just “learning”). For example, an explicit embracing of a value system that includes non-economic measures is (I believe) required. The work that Senge, Jaworski, Gozdz and many others have done on LCs is incredibly valuable and provided a foundation to go even further.
